Registration

For each accepted paper at least one author needs to be registered by 3rd August 2023. The conference participation fee includes lunches, coffee breaks, opening reception on 20th September 2023, social dinner on 21st September 2023 and public transport during the event 20-22 September 2023. Registration involves the following steps:

1. Create an account for conftool.
2. Follow the registration procedure in conftool in accordance to your participant category (see table below). If the receiver of the invoice for your registration is a business client and located in the EU (e.g. your university located in an EU country), please do not forget to also enter your EU VAT identification number in the corresponding field of your registration (under “Step 3 of 4: Payment Details”). Moreover, please input the correct billing address (e.g. that of your university and *not* your private address if your university pays the registration fee).
3. Once the registration procedure in conftool is completed you will first receive an automatic confirmation and later an email with the payment due and invoice (this email is generated manually and may take up to 10 working days to get to you).
4. Transfer the payment according to the instructions received in the afore-mentioned e-mail.
5. Your registration is only complete once the payment is received; the status of your registration will be visible in conftool.

^[1] Due to the reverse charge VAT agreement, the rates for attendees of international companies do not include VAT (0% VAT/GST).

^[2] For the Student/PhD student registration, it is required to upload a PDF during the registration procedure as proof of student status. This can be either a certificate of matriculation or an informal letter of the PhD supervisor.
